Birger Christensen Collective has become a Patron for CPHFW NEWTALENT
Underlining the importance of supporting emerging talent, for this season Birger Christensen Collective has become a Patron for CPHFW NEWTALENT supported by CIRCULOSE®.
As Patron of CPHFW NEWTALENT, Birger Christensen Collective will offer financial support to the brands part of the scheme via bursaries earmarked for their showcases during the August edition of Copenhagen Fashion Week, as well as advice as part of the CPHFW NEWTALENT mentor programme.
With the SS24 line up encompassing Nicklas Skovgaard, P.L.N., Latimmier and Rolf Ekroth, never has there been a more adept moment for support of emerging designer voices in the Nordics from key industry leaders.
Denise Christensen, CEO, Birger Christensen Collective notes: "We are proud to collaborate with the CPHFW NEWTALENT program, supporting and connecting with the new generation of Scandinavian talent, and crucially, giving back to our community. Informed by over 150 years of heritage, Birger Christensen Collective today represents a platform for establishing and nurturing talent, both within and outside of the organization. With our own brand ventures, we acknowledge the struggles of launching a new brand: taking the creative vision and making it a reality, and we are excited to impart our experiences and expertise the next generation of incredible design talent through the CPHFW NEWTALENT platform.”
