Baum und Pferdgarten was established in Copenhagen in 1999 by Rikke Baumgarten and Helle Hestehave after they had graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Design. The brand’s name, a linguistic interplay between their two names, reflects the playfulness of the founders echoed in their designs.

Sustainability Requirements

Baum und Pferdgarten has been screened by CPHFW’s Sustainability Committee and is confirmed compliant with the Minimum Standards for AW26.

It simply means the brand has been screened by the CPHFW’s Screening committee Rambøll and are living up to Copenhagen Fashion Week’s admission criteria. Brands are responsible to ensure compliance with the Danish Marketing Practices Act, following the Danish Consumer Ombudsman’s recommendations when communicating about their sustainability practices across their platforms, same goes for any communication related to their participation in Copenhagen Fashion Week and their Sustainability Requirements screening.
