Head of Commercial and Sponsorship

Copenhagen Fashion Week is looking for a passionate and experienced colleague to lead, deliver and manage all sponsorship, marketing and commercial operations of Copenhagen Fashion Week.

You will join the organisation behind a fashion week that has gained international acclaim for the high level of Nordic brands partaking in the week and for our visionary approach to sustainability. You will join a team of highly dedicated colleagues whose work ethics are high. In close collaboration with Copenhagen Fashion Week’s CEO you will be in charge of the commercial strategy and in close collaboration with the team you will be in charge of all commercial activations.

Your tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain and develop a close relationship with current sponsors and suppliers
  • Attract new sponsors and suppliers that align with Copenhagen Fashion Week’s sustainability strategy
  • Work closely with Comms & Digital as well as Sustanaiblity and Production departments on proposals for prospective sponsors, both from an assets, deliverables and opportunity perspective
  • In close collaboration with the Comms & Digital department, develop the marketing strategy, manage marketing campaigns and assist on media partnerships
  • Execute partnerships and work closely with both Production and Comms & Digital to ensure all agreed sponsor deliverables are seamlessly and timely met
  • Provide timely post-event reports to sponsors including having the responsibility for collating all report assets and analytics
  • Responsible for scoping out new revenue streams for Copenhagen Fashion Week
  • Provide accurate reports to CEO and board as required

The ideal profile:

  • 5-10 years of professional experience within event sponsorship or sales
  • Extensive knowledge on marketing, sales, sponsorship
  • A relevant higher education
  • Strong written skills in English
  • Responsible, structured and detail oriented

Sustainability Intern for Copenhagen Fashion Week

Copenhagen Fashion Week is looking for a structured and motivated Sustainability
Intern to support our Sustainability Manager. The starting date is flexible between June-
July 2022. The internship lasts for 6 months.

You will join the organisation behind a fashion week that has gained international acclaim
for our visionary approach to sustainability, and you will also join a team of highly
dedicated colleagues whose work ethics are high. You can learn more about our

Your tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Working closely with the team on the implementation of the 2023 Sustainability
    Requirements
  • Working closely with our Sustainability Manager on the implementation of our 2020-
    2022 Action Plan
  • Assist in working with our partners in the implementation of our targets including
    direct engagement as well as developing presentation material
  • Researching on industry developments around fashion and sustainability
  • Support in executing knowledge sharing activities such as webinars
  • Assist in our digital communication with editorial assignments such as newsletters or
  • Instagram posts
  • Support our Sustainability Manager for any ad hoc tasks

The ideal profile

  • Have a relevant higher education preferably within sustainability, fashion and/or
    business administration
  • Have a strong passion for sustainability and the fashion industry and are eager to stay
    curious
  • Possess strong English communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Have proficiency in working with Microsoft Office and preferably Adobe applications
  • Are a self-motivated, outgoing team player who can work independently and take on responsibility for assignments
  • Are well-structured with a high attention to detail

The position

The starting date is flexible between June or July 2022. Working hours are flexible and to
be agreed upon with our Sustainability Manager. Nevertheless, we expect a commitment
of minimum 20 hours/week.

The position is located in Copenhagen. Nevertheless, we encourage international
applicants for this position as we are open for you to work remotely.

Do you want to be a volunteer during Copenhagen Fashion Week SS23?

As a volunteer at Copenhagen Fashion Week, you will be an essential part of the leading Nordic fashion week, and you will get an opportunity to experience the fashion week from the inside.

Copenhagen Fashion Week will host various events and activities in August 2022, and as a volunteer your responsibilities will be related to assisting with the various tasks required to making the many happenings successful. You will be working with diverse tasks and will be in contact with many different people from all over the world.

Volunteers for SS23

Period of work: August 9th – August 12th, 2022 - full time

As a volunteer for Copenhagen Fashion Week, it is essential that you are outgoing, smiling and engaged as you will be the external face of Copenhagen Fashion Week. You should thrive in high paced environments and want to take on responsibility.

Who are you?

  • You are flexible, energetic, and able to multitask
  • You speak professional English
  • Age 18+

Practical information

After the fashion week it will be possible for you to get a written statement, as a proof of your amazing work and contribution. Due to our conscious approach, we will not be providing clothing for our volunteers, instead, we encourage all volunteers to wear either a white or black simple top and bottoms, if possible.
