Mfpen

mfpen is a modern clothing brand that reinterprets classic garments through relaxed silhouettes and a commitment to responsible production.

The aesthetic draws on both retrospective and countercultural notions to look ahead and shape the evolution of classic European tailoring and design, creating timeless garments with a sense of understated, refined elegance. Our production process follows a Responsible Hierarchy, prioritising high-quality European deadstock fabrics sourced from excess stock within the fashion industry. When deadstock isn’t available, we turn to recycled and biodegradable fabrics, only using certified organic cotton as a last resort. Established by Sigurd Bank in 2016.

Sustainability Requirements

Mfpen is being onboarded to the Sustainability Requirements for SS27. By SS28, Mfpen will be screened by CPHFW’s Sustainability Committee and must demonstrate compliance with the Minimum Standards to be eligible for the official Show & Presentation. Learn more about the onboarding phase here.

Please note that the Sustainability Requirements framework is not a certification scheme or audit. As such, complying to the Minimum Standards does not mean a brand or their products are “sustainable”, “responsible, “conscious”, “eco-friendly” or the likes. It simply means the brand has been screened by the CPHFW’s Screening committee Rambøll and are living up to Copenhagen Fashion Week’s admission criteria.
