By Malene Birger
By Malene Birger is a womenswear house defined by sophisticated Scandinavian minimalism and a purposeful, elevated design ethos.
Guided by integrity and designed with intention, each collection is crafted with longevity in mind—refined fabrics, feminine detailing, and enduring silhouettes that speak to a sense of luxurious utility. Founded in 2003 by Danish designer Malene Birger, the brand entered a new era in 2020 with a complete reimagining of its visual identity. From the introduction of a signature monogram to the considered evolution of its collections and retail environments, the house offers a modern, intelligent wardrobe for the multifaceted woman.
Sustainability Requirements
By Malene Birger is being onboarded to the Sustainability Requirements for SS27. By SS28, By Malene Birger will be screened by CPHFW’s Sustainability Committee and must demonstrate compliance with the Minimum Standards to be eligible for the official Show & Presentation. Learn more about the onboarding phase here.
Please note that the Sustainability Requirements framework is not a certification scheme or audit. As such, complying to the Minimum Standards does not mean a brand or their products are “sustainable”, “responsible, “conscious”, “eco-friendly” or the likes. It simply means the brand has been screened by the CPHFW’s Screening committee Rambøll and are living up to Copenhagen Fashion Week’s admission criteria.
