Anne Sofie Madsen
Introducing the next chapter of Anne Sofie Madsen
The brand embraces contrast with purpose rather than contradiction. Structured wool tailoring is softened by translucent silk chiffon. Crystal embroidery appears as both delicate ornament and protective armor. Hand-dyed silk organza tubes curve across the body like imagined flora. These elements together create a language that feels both contemporary and timeless, as if drawn from a future to be told.
Anne Sofie Madsen redefines everyday clothing through transformation. A coat becomes more than outerwear—it carries memory and presence, sculptural and expressive. Dresses balance elegance with utility, designed for movement and intimacy. The work embodies a quiet timelessness that exists beyond nostalgia or futurism.
This next chapter also sees the introduction of Caroline Clante as co-creative director. Her editorial insight and collaborative mindset deepen the brand’s storytelling, introducing a new confidence and narrative complexity that enrich the creative dialogue. This is not a reinvention but a considered expansion—one shaped by shared cultural touchstones such as literature, film, and sound.
Together, Madsen and Clante are establishing a space for conversation and cross-disciplinary exploration where fashion is approached not merely as a product, but as a thoughtful form of expression.
Sustainability Requirements
AW26 is Anne Sofie Madsen’s second season in the CPHFW NEWTALENT scheme. Becoming a CPHFW NEWTALENT alumni by AW27, Anne Sofie Madsen will be screened by CPHFW’s Sustainability Committee and must demonstrate compliance with the Minimum Standards to be eligible for the Official Show & Presentation.
Please note that the Sustainability Requirements framework is not a certification scheme or audit. As such, complying to the Minimum Standards does not mean a brand or their products are “sustainable”, “responsible, “conscious”, “eco-friendly” or the likes. It simply means the brand has been screened by the CPHFW’s Screening committee Rambøll and are living up to Copenhagen Fashion Week’s admission criteria. Brands are responsible to ensure compliance with the Danish Marketing Practices Act, following the Danish Consumer Ombudsman’s recommendations when communicating about their sustainability practices across their platforms, same goes for any communication related to their participation in Copenhagen Fashion Week and their Sustainability Requirements screening.
