Taus

With a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, the brand reimagines historical influences through a contemporary lens, exploring identity, class, and the evolving role of clothing in modern society.

Taus is a Copenhagen-based ready-to-wear and demi-couture studio founded in 2024 by Freyja Taus and Juho Lehiö.

Rooted in craftsmanship and slowness, Taus approaches fashion not as novelty, but as dialogue — between past and present, object and body, maker and wearer. Each piece is part of a wider exploration: of identity, of class, of what it means to dress with intention.

Sustainability Requirements

One To Watch brands are not screened against the Minimum Standards, but have been offered an introduction call with CPHFW to learn more about the Sustainability Requirements framework and future expectations.

Please note that the Sustainability Requirements framework is not a certification scheme or audit. As such, complying to the Minimum Standards does not mean a brand or their products are “sustainable”, “responsible, “conscious”, “eco-friendly” or the likes. It simply means the brand has been screened by the CPHFW’s Screening committee Rambøll and are living up to Copenhagen Fashion Week’s admission criteria. Brands are responsible to ensure compliance with the Danish Marketing Practices Act, following the Danish Consumer Ombudsman’s recommendations when communicating about their sustainability practices across their platforms, same goes for any communication related to their participation in Copenhagen Fashion Week and their Sustainability Requirements screening.
