CPHFW continues partnership with Ukrainian Fashion Week

Ukrainian Fashion Week and Copenhagen Fashion Week are proud to partner once again for the AW24 edition, spotlighting inspiring Ukrainian talent.

Copenhagen Fashion Week and Ukrainian Fashion Week continue their partnership with the AW24 edition marking the fourth season of collaboration.

The joint presentation of Ukrainian fashion brands, marking the 20th international event of the "Support Ukrainian Fashion" Initiative, will take place on January 31 at Ukraine House in Denmark.

"Support Ukrainian Fashion" Initiative

On January 31 at Ukraine House in Denmark, Ukrainian fashion brands will be jointly presented, marking the 20th international event of the "Support Ukrainian Fashion" Initiative by Ukrainian Fashion Week. Launched during the war, this initiative symbolises global solidarity with Ukrainian designers. Despite the Russian war, Ukrainian fashion designers continue to create, showcasing the industry's resilience.

Following the full-scale Russian invasion, UFW moved its 51st and 52nd seasons for the first time in 25 years from Kyiv to international catwalks, allowing Ukrainian brands to present collections created during the war in 14 global events.

Within the “Support Ukrainian Fashion” Initiative, 52 Ukrainian designers showcased their collections at 10 fashion weeks in Europe and the USA. This initiative is vital for providing visibility to Ukrainian brands during the ongoing war, securing orders on international markets, and supporting the industry, saving businesses and livelihoods of hundreds of workers.

Presentations spotlighting Ukrainian designers during AW24 edition

During Copenhagen Fashion Week, two presentations of Ukrainian designers will take place. The first is a joint presentation on January 31, featuring five Ukrainian designers—including CHERESHNIVSKA, DOMANOF, J’AMEMME, PASKAL, Fayina Yerenburh X VOZIANOV—united by a belief in the power of dreams. They come together to present collections that embody the essence of the Dream, showcasing the indomitable human spirit and symbolising vitality and faith in a better world in the face of war's destructive force.

On February 1, KSENIASCHNAIDER will unveil their AW24 collection, dedicated to the motto "Nature Always Wins."

Both presentations are a chance to witness the blend of fashion, art, and diversity in the approach to sustainability, which is an integral part of the philosophy of each brand. At Copenhagen Fashion Week, Ukrainian designers will unveil their latest creations, demonstrating their ongoing creativity and strength even in challenging times.
