Copenhagen Fashion Week Announces SS26 Brand Line Up

With the SS26 season ahead, Copenhagen Fashion Week has announced its line up of 45 brands and institutions that will showcase as part of the official schedule in August 2025.
Presenting key international and Nordic established leaders and emerging innovators this season, the SS26 brand line up introduces Anne Sofie Madsen to the CPHFW NEWTALENT programme, joining Berner Kühl and Bonnetje, with a host of returning brands to the schedule inclusive of Sunflower, Henrik Vibskov and Marimekko, as well as a curated selection of exciting new names across the four days of shows and presentations. The presence of reputable Nordic names set against international vanguards across a four day programme of 45 shows and presentations further underlines the international positioning Copenhagen Fashion Week holds within the fashion calendar worldwide. SS26 will see IAMISIGO, the winner of the Zalando Visionary Award 2025, present their latest collection on the runway, supported by Zalando as part of its commitment to spotlighting emerging designers who challenge conventions and inspire progress in the fashion industry.
The line up for the SS26 edition, taking place 4 – 8 August 2025, encompasses 45 brands that have been approved by the official show & presentation committee. Furthermore, these brands are part of CPHFW’s pilot of the revised Sustainability Requirements framework giving them the opportunity to test and implement required actions before they come into effect in January 2026.
“I’m proud to unveil the brand line up for SS26, which once again affirms Copenhagen Fashion Week’s position as a leading global fashion week. Despite the headwinds facing our industry, it’s both meaningful and encouraging to see growing participation and support - a clear reminder of how vital a platform like this becomes in challenging times. This season, we are especially pleased to introduce a new Guest Slot, which will be given to Cecilie Bahnsen for a special showcase. Our CPHFW NEWTALENT programme continues to gain momentum, with Anne Sofie Madsen joining as the newest designer in the scheme. We’re also happy to welcome back Freya Dalsjø, P.L.N., Sunflower, Ranra, and Rave Review. I look forward to seeing the season unfold and to presenting the most relevant voices in the Nordic creative industry to our global community coming together to support, spotlight, and celebrate in August.”
- Cecilie Thorsmark, CEO Copenhagen Fashion Week
CPHFW NEWTALENT scheme
For SS26, CPHFW NEWTALENT will include three brands: continuing from last season are Berner Kühl and Bonnetje, with Anne Sofie Madsen joining the scheme.
For this coming edition, Kettel Atelier, Stem and Taus will be awarded the One To Watch recognition slot, and will present their forthcoming collection through presentations as part of the August 2025 edition.
Brands part of CPHFW NEWTALENT receive support for three consecutive seasons though monetary support, mentorships, partnership offerings, professional advisors, onboarding to the official Copenhagen Fashion Week show & presentation schedule, event participation, showroom activations, alumni network, and extensive PR through Copenhagen Fashion Week’s international community and channels. Subsequently each designer will graduate on to the alumni scheme.
Zalando Visionary Award
The Zalando Visionary Award, now in its third year, honours excellence in design, innovation, and social impact. It underscores Zalando’s commitment to championing positive change in the industry, recognising the makers of the future by spotlighting designers and brands with a visionary approach to driving meaningful change within fashion and beyond. With previous winners Paolina Russo and Sinéad O'Dwyer, and the 2025 recipient IAMISIGO, the award continues to elevate designers who are reshaping the fashion landscape with bold, innovative practices. As part of the award, winning brands receive a €50,000 monetary prize and financial assistance for their show production during CPHFW. Beyond financial and production backing, the Zalando Visionary Award also provides a program of mentorship and tailored resources designed to foster long-term development and industry connections.
Cecilie Bahnsen Announced as the Copenhagen Fashion Week Guest Slot for August 2025
In anticipation of the SS26 edition, Copenhagen Fashion Week is delighted to introduce the CPHFW Guest Slot and announce Cecilie Bahnsen as its first recipient. A dedicated show slot that will be part of the official show and presentation schedule, the CPHFW Guest Slot has been introduced by Copenhagen Fashion Week in order to spotlight a key voice both in the Nordics and beyond while utilising its positioning as the fifth global fashion week to provide a platform for the CPHFW Guest Slot brand to present as a special runway showcase.
The CPHFW Guest Slot was awarded to Cecilie Bahnsen in honour of the brand’s ten year anniversary celebration this 2025 and her long time dedication, allegiance and support to the Copenhagen Fashion Week organisation and community. Epitomising an eponymous vision of Danish design, the brand’s impact continues to be felt.
