Sunflower

Made for men in search of a fresh approach, Sunflower is a wardrobe of contemporary menswear balancing understated, intelligent design with a respect for tailoring traditions.

The label is designed in Copenhagen by a collective of menswear authorities who grew frustrated with passing fads and fashion trends changing with each season. Sunflower represents a yearning for something more lasting, real clothes made for men’s daily lives. The method of production is as valued as the final product, with an insistence on sourcing the best quality fabrics, technical innovation and construction by skilled craftsmen.

Sustainability Requirements

AW26 is Sunflower’s second season onboarded to the Sustainability Requirements framework. By SS27, Sunflower will be screened by CPHFW’s Sustainability Committee and must demonstrate compliance with the Minimum Standards to be eligible for the Official Show & Presentation. Learn more about the onboarding phase here.

Please note that the Sustainability Requirements framework is not a certification scheme or audit. As such, complying to the Minimum Standards does not mean a brand or their products are “sustainable”, “responsible, “conscious”, “eco-friendly” or the likes. It simply means the brand has been screened by the CPHFW’s Screening committee Rambøll and are living up to Copenhagen Fashion Week’s admission criteria. Brands are responsible to ensure compliance with the Danish Marketing Practices Act, following the Danish Consumer Ombudsman’s recommendations when communicating about their sustainability practices across their platforms, same goes for any communication related to their participation in Copenhagen Fashion Week and their Sustainability Requirements screening.
