Alpha features designers who demonstrate high levels of originality, creativity and craftsmanship.

About

Each year, 10 Nordic finalists are selected to present their work at a joint fashion show at Copenhagen Fashion Week. In partnership with international fashion houses and retail institutions, awarded designers receive mentorships, paid internships, bursaries and support to produce a commercial collection. Selected designers will be featured in exhibitions across the Nordics.

Alpha talents have gone on to Givenchy, Maison Margiela, Marni and Balenciaga.

Sustainability

Nordic fashion talents are highly invested in designing for a more responsible future. Recycling, upcycling, use of dead stock and non-toxic dyes are just some of the methods they use to reduce the use of virgin materials. Moreover, at Alpha they present unique one-off work produced as part of their graduation collections, which are not mass produced.
