Copenhagen Fashion Week receives funding from the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for its notable work in the global fashion sector and sustainability.

Copenhagen Fashion Week receives project support funding from the shared grant pool of the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in recognition of their ambitious work within the global fashion sector and notably the Sustainability Requirements framework.

Copenhagen Fashion Week is pleased to announce funding from the shared grant pool of the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, allocated on the basis of Copenhagen Fashion Week's funding application that outlines an ambitious focus on implementing strategic partnerships around Copenhagen Fashion Week's Sustainability Requirements. The project funding will be used across two years and will include five key activations, two in Denmark and three held abroad in London, Paris and New York.

The purpose of the grant will be to roll out international partnerships bridged across Copenhagen Fashion Week's Sustainability Requirements, focusing on the impact of international collaboration in order to accelerate change towards a more positive industry.

The activations will take various formats, ranging from showrooms, symposiums, showcases, roundtables and events, with the format chosen to best interact with the fashion industry and wider cultural landscape.The Agency of Culture and Palaces will be supporting Copenhagen Fashion Week through project guidance, and The Danish Arts Foundation will uplift the project through additional funding and resources.

Each activation will be announced across Copenhagen Fashion Week's communication channels with the purpose, partners and desired outcomes outlined in the lead up to each activation, with the resulting outputs shared with Copenhagen Fashion Week's domestic and global audience.
