CPHFW NEWTALENT scheme supported by CIRCULOSE® onboards key new brands, partners and patrons for SS24 edition
For the forthcoming edition of Copenhagen Fashion Week, CPHFW NEWTALENT scheme supported by CIRCULOSE® continues nurturing emerging talents from the Nordics with a range of activations to spotlight the next generation of fashion visionaries.
This season Nicklas Skovgaard and Rolf Ekroth will present their first showcases, with P.L.N. and Latimmier presenting their third and final showcases as part of the scheme. MLGA, the One To Watch designer, will present through an installation at the official CPHFW Talk Program venue in the Polestar Space.
The dedicated CPHFW NEWTALENT Showroom located in the heart of Copenhagen will provide global industry leaders with an opportunity to familiarise themselves with the exceptional brands participating in the scheme as well as Alumni such as A. Roege Hove and Vain, represented by Fashion In Helsinki.

During the SS24 season, CPHFW NEWTALENT will host a showroom supported by CIRCULOSE®, introducing the Nordic and international press and buyer community to a selection of leading emerging designers of the Nordics. For the SS24 edition, the CPHFW NEWTALENT showroom will host 6 emerging designers, counting Latimmier and P.L.N., represented by CPHFW, Rolf Ekroth represented by CPHFW and ALPHA, Nicklas Skovgaard represented by CPHFW and nominated a finalist of the Wessel & Vett Fashion Prize 2022, CPHFW NEWTALENT alumni A. Roege Hove represented by CPHFW and VAIN represented by Fashion in Helsinki.
Meet CPHFW NEWTALENT One To Watch, MLGA
CPHFW NEWTALENT One To Watch is a recognition spotlight granted to a designer or brand with an exceptional creative vision. Alongside extensive communication by Copenhagen Fashion Week, the brand is provided a free slot on the official Presentation & Event schedule for showcasing their collection as an installation during fashion week. For SS24, CPHFW NEWTALENT's One to Watch is MLGA, which will hold an installation on Tuesday, 8 August 20:00 – 22:00 as part of the August 2023 edition. They are highlighted as a key brand within the Copenhagen Fashion Week edition that is representative of the next generation of creative talent.

Each of the brands admitted to CPHFW NEWTALENT will be provided sessions with mentors of their own choice. The sessions can be used across all mentors listed below, at the convenience of the brand, and the respective mentor.

As the Official Hair Sponsor of CPHFW NEWTALENT, MONPURE will support emerging brands with products and hairstyling that focuses on hair health, offering their hair expertise to create bespoke runway-ready looks for their August shows. For the SS24 season, MONPURE has partnered with Rolf Ekroth and P.L.N. from the CPHFW NEWTALENT scheme and will be powering hair backstage at both showcases in August.

CPHFW NEWTALENT supported by CIRCULOSE® is a talent support scheme for Nordic emerging brands with less than five years in business. Established by Copenhagen Fashion Week to nurture, develop, and promote emerging Nordic talent on a global scale, the scheme creates new opportunities for three to four emerging designers per season via monetary support, mentorships, partnership offerings, professional advisors, onboarding to the official Copenhagen Fashion Week show schedule, event participation, showroom activations, alumni network, and extensive PR through Copenhagen Fashion Week's international community and channels.
