CPHFW Creative Hub and Amalie Roege Hove 001

Some Body Was Here
Amalie Roege Hove presents ‘001’, in close collaboration with Sofie Hermansen and Søren Minds - an exhibition exploring textile and fiber beyond the body. Bound by a shared appreciation of craft, they explore textile in stillness through mirrored frames and crafted structures.
The exhibition will be open to the public at Nikolaj Kunsthal on the 7th of August from 10:00 to 10:45 during Copenhagen Fashion Week.
This exhibition is supported by TENCEL™.
The CPHFW Creative Hub is a vibrant space for discovering innovation in fashion through immersive installations and interactive experiences. Taking place on August 6–7, the Hub will feature daytime programming including talks, screenings, workshops, and thoughtfully designed spaces to explore, learn from, and be inspired by. Come connect with leading voices shaping the future of fashion and culture, a celebration of creativity, community, and what’s next for the industry.
Amalie Røge Hove is a Danish textile designer recognised for her sculptural and experimental approach to traditional knitwear techniques. After earning a Master’s degree from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and working as a knitwear designer for brands including Cecilie Bahnsen and MKDT, Amalie founded A. ROEGE HOVE in 2019. Today, Amalie continues her practice independently, embracing slower processes and experimental collaborations that allow for deeper material exploration.
Søren Minds has since his graduation worked with knitwear development for various international and Danish brands. Since returning to Denmark his focus has been on reclaiming his background as a butcher in creating an aesthetic that encapsulates a dialog between an industrial environment and the organic aspects of the craft, through his approach to materials and knitting techniques.
Sofie Hermansen is an emerging knitwear designer working at the intersection of textiles, fashion, and craftsmanship. She holds a degree in textile design with a specialization in machine knitting from Design School Kolding. Since graduating, she has been working as an independent and freelance designer from her studio in Copenhagen.
