After the Rush - A CPHFW Morning Recovery
A calm morning space on CPHFW's final day, offering recovery, movement and connection, hosted by One Thirty Lab together with founders behind SHADES Underwear and Roots of Kin.
Copenhagen Fashion Week is exciting, inspiring and highly social, but it is also fast-paced, overstimulating and centred on constant movement from one event to the next.
On the final day of Fashion Week, we have an opportunity to offer something different: a calm morning space where guests can slow down, move, recover and reconnect with themselves after the rush of the week. The event brings together One Thirty Labs' expertise in modern health and recovery with two upcoming brands, SHADES Underwear and Roots of Kin, founded by women with minority and multicultural backgrounds, in an intimate, curated setting. Rather than competing with another party, breakfast or traditional fashion activation, we create an experience that responds to how people may actually feel by Friday morning.
Program:
The morning is opened by Tine Hertz, the experienced and successful founder of One Thirty Labs, who welcomes guests through her doors, both literally and figuratively, making space for two younger founders, Stine Wincentsen and Mia Alexandra Vega Præsius. Together, they facilitate smaller sessions of recovery and presence, gently guiding guests to slow down and reconnect with themselves.
Throughout the morning, guests can enjoy healthy drinks, breakfast and supplements, while Roots of Kin's and SHADES Underwear's products are on display and available to try. Through SHADES Underwear, Mia is redefining nude underwear through a broader spectrum of skin tones, with an inclusive approach that makes more people feel seen, represented and comfortable.
Roots of Kin was born from Stine's own upbringing between Denmark and Singapore, a childhood spent translating between two cultures rather than belonging fully to either. Out of that experience, she has built a clean multicultural skincare brand that gives people who live between cultures both a routine and a community.
Shared foundation:
The three hosts span different industries and generations, but share a strong common ground. We are three women building our own businesses, and together we bring different generations of founders into the same room. Several of us come from minority or multicultural backgrounds, and our brands challenge narrow industry standards around beauty, fashion, bodies and representation. Underlying it all is a shared belief that creativity, health and community are connected.
