Sini Majuri exhibition
Welcome to Finnish glass artist Sini Majuri's exhibition at Poet. Discover her latest collection: sculptural interior horses, massive one-of-a-kind drinking vessels, and wild mini sculptures.
In today’s world, presence is rare. We rush through life without noticing, scrolling, moving, thinking ahead. Sini Majuri's exhibition reminds us that being present is a radical act, and that touch, attention, and slowing down are more urgent than ever. At POET, Majuri presents her latest collection: sculptural interior horses that are oddly charming, massive one-of-a-kind drinking vessels that are too heavy, but that is the reason why the user is awake, and miniature sculptures that mirror the emotions we usually hide.Sini Majuri is a Helsinki-based designer working at the crossroads of robotics, fashion, and endangered glass art. Her work has appeared on the front page of The New York Times and in over 90 exhibitions worldwide. She makes the impossible tangible: pieces that have danced with robots, walked fashion weeks as gigantic glass shoes, and now, in this exhibition, exist simply to make people stop and feel.
