Caoimhe Dowling, 'Bedlam' Collection Installation and Film Screening

Welcome to ‘Bedlam’; Experience Caoimhe Dowling’s debut artisanal menswear collection through a curated installation, paired with the screening of its accompanying short fashion film, shot on Super 8.

'Bedlam' is, in many ways, a manifesto for what the brand seeks to stand for going forward. The collection was developed beginning last November as a cathartic response to a world that often feels unsettled, with the aim of creating clothing in which care, craft, and the hand of the maker are felt in every detail. Its development became a journey through Ireland, Scotland, and the Faroe Islands, working closely with local makers to produce woven cloth, knitwear, and naturally dyed fabrics. These traditional techniques are brought together into a considered and cohesive body of work. There is something quietly meditative in the rhythm of weaving, knitting, and natural dyeing; a means of finding calm within the bedlam that surrounds us. Above all, the collection stands as an ode to craft and the life it brings to each garment.

The installation will be open all day from 10 am - 19.30 on the 27th, walk-ins are very welcome throughout the day.

There will be a special film screening and drinks reception happening at 18.30.
