The end of an era

For the past 3 seasons, CEO of Copenhagen Fashion Week, Camilla Frank has stayed in her favourite suite at Hotel Skt. Petri during fashion week. In a week filled with new impressions, fashionable parties and new trends, she calls the hotel her safe space where “it’s possible to charge my mental batteries for a new and exciting day”.

Despite all the fabulousness that naturally comes along with a new fashion week, Frank’s stay at the hotel is not just for pleasure. Each season, Copenhagen Fashion Week invites a selected group of international press to join the hospitality programme and cover fashion week. “In collaboration with Hotel Skt. Petri we’re able to provide our guests with beautiful rooms during their stay and a part of my job is naturally also to be present and reachable to them”.

When asked about her favourite thing about the hotel, Frank is torn between having a large breakfast at the impressive buffet in the heart of the hotel “which is the perfect start to a busy fashion week day ” and “having a quiet moment in the garden courtyard” which is covered in sun during most of the day. “The Copenhagen Fashion Week SS19 will be my fourth and last season as CEO of Copenhagen Fashion Week and therefore also my last fashion week stay at Hotel Skt. Petri – I love it here but also, I can’t wait to not having to leave my boys for a whole week again”.
