Soeren Le Schmidt
Danish designer Soeren Le Schmidt showcases his AW20 collection during Copenhagen Fashion Week, featured in the transparent high-tech interiors of Nordea HQ. This season, his designs are, as usual, based on old school tailoring, still maintaining high quality and skillfulness, but combined with a rockabilly and playful edge. The SLS collection is also inspired by architecture, accordingly, as standard, very minimalistic and graphic.
Throughout the entire collection, the designer strives towards using 100% sustainable fabrics, having sustainability as his core focus area, caring for the environment. Soeren Le Schmidt came across a 100% sustainable fabric, presented beautifully on various designs this season, including dresses, blazers and trousers, relying heavily on the use of sustainable materials. The designer is also continuously endeavoring to acquire residual fabrics and use leftover materials to minimize waste or re-use previous designs that were remodeled.
Furthermore, Soeren Le Schmidt does not make to stock, he only creates his designs on demand, minimizing waste, while allowing for more personalization and customized designs, focusing on body proportions and a unique look.
By invitation only.
