How do you prepare for fashion week?
For me, preparations for the show begin when I gather inspiration for my collection and start drawing it. It all start months prior to the show and fashion week. When we get closer and the collection is basically ready, it’s all about fittings, casting, and creating looks together with the creative teams, and then working with the production company.
How is this collection distinct from others?
For this collection, I have been working on making the brand and pieces more accessible both in terms of design and price range, all the while staying true to my core values and approach to design.
I will be introducing a whole new product range, which from now on will be an integrated part of the collection, consisting of easier, more daywear pieces than what you have seen from my hand until now. It’s my take on a selection of timeless pieces that I feel must be part of the contemporary woman’s wardrobe.
What do you hope to achieve with your show at CFW?
For me, my show is a celebration. It is a chance to present my vision, to see my work in movement, and to get an immediate reaction from the press, buyers, and people close to me, as well as new audiences.
What is your favorite item from this collection?
My favorite item must be the wool/ silk trench coat with a brown fur collar. A timeless item and a wardrobe essential.
