How do you prepare for Fashion Week?

As Creative Director, I am involved in almost everything regarding the show. The preparations stretch from the beginning of December to when the last model enters the catwalk. Obviously, my main role is to make sure that the new collection is as close to perfection as possible. But I am also involved in the creative process of creating an atmosphere that serves to amplify the story and inspiration of the collection at the show – both in terms of physical objects at the location, but also on how to communicate about it.

How is this collection distinct from others?

This season is drastically different through its focus on sustainable fabrics. Our “Designers Remix Preloved” styles will once again play an important role in the show, but this time, the guests will also see new styles made from 100 % sustainable fabrics.

What do you hope to achieve with your show at CFW?

Hopefully our FW18 show will create a lot of attention both here in Copenhagen and internationally. I hope that our guests will see Designers Remix as a journey that erupts from our signature DNA but with a more sustainable agenda for the future.

What is your favorite item from this collection?

My absolute favorite from the collection is the brown “Ernest Coat” in checks made from recycled polyester in Europe.
