Copenhagen Fashion Week’s opening dinner serves locally produced, Danish wines
Copenhagen Fashion Week is pleased to announce that the official SS20 opening dinner will be served accompanied by a selection of wines from Dyrehøj Winery.
This season, Copenhagen Fashion Week has made the decision to keep the wine selection for the official opening dinner local, and will serve wines from Dyrehøj Winery. Located in sunny Røsnæs, Dyrehøj Winery has the perfect growing conditions, with its cold climate, mineral rich soil and dedicated team of wine experts. Founded by Tom Christensen, the winery is the largest in Denmark, with more than 30.000 wine ranks. Conscious of their impact on the environment and ground water, Dyrehøj Winery is in the process of shifting their production from conventional to organic farming, and will produce their first fully organic harvest this summer.
“Our ambition is to make top quality wines, that can compete on an international level. We know that Danish fruit is exceptional, and with certain grape varieties having been cultivated to thrive in our colder climate, the foundation for our production was established,” states Tom Christensen, Founder of Dyrehøj Winery.
