Cofoco Food commits to four seasons of backstage food supply for models

Copenhagen Fashion Week is proud to announce that we are entering a two-year partnership with Cofoco Food that will offer all shows and presentations on the official schedule the possibility of serving models sustainable vegetarian and vegan meals backstage — securing them energy throughout an intense and demanding fashion week.

In order to ensure the well-being of models in the Danish fashion industry, Copenhagen Fashion Week requires all brands on the official schedule to sign and adhere to the Danish Fashion Ethical Charter. One of the minimum requirements in the charter is offering healthy and nutritious food to models backstage — securing energy throughout an intense and demanding fashion week. We are therefore very happy to be able to offer all brands on the official schedule the possibility to sign up to the Cofoco Food deal and thereby secure sustainable meals for their model cast for the next four seasons to come.

“We are very happy to partner with Cofoco Food and be able to offer all brands on the official schedule vegetarian and vegan food for their model cast, which not only is tasty and nutritious, but also sustainable and hence in compliance with our standards” states Cecilie Thorsmark, CEO of Copenhagen Fashion Week.

“We look forward to supplying sustainable food for the fashion weeks for the next four seasons, as well as to support Copenhagen Fashion Week on their journey towards becoming more sustainable” states Kåre Find Nielsen, CEO of Cofoco Food.
