Take a detour in between shows with our featured Copenhagen insiders. Today, founder and creative director of WorkSleepRepeat, Asger Juel Larsen, shares with you his hidden gems in the Danish capital.

Omar is a newly opened restaurant in Nørrebro and serves 8 carefully selected courses. It has a good open atmosphere and the owner Simon Leo Hansen will serve you well, while telling stories from here and there.

Depanneur has many titles. It is a shop, it is a bar and it is a great place to meet for a coffee, drink or beer. Always good people and music and very kind to dogs. Next door is Fætter Fætter, they serve the best toast in town. Both places are worth a visit.

Pumpehuset is my preferred place to watch gigs. Good sound, not too big, wide selection of artists and it still has this deep-rooted dirty feel, which makes it very authentic.
