Schnayderman's to open Copenhagen Fashion Week

The Stockholm-based brand opened the AW21 digital edition with their coming-of-age sci-fi 'The Outsiders' about a tight-knit group of friends. Alienated by society but united by their quirks, they carve their own path towards adulthood. In the final hours of life as they know it, we see them prepare for a life changing event - a close encounter of the first kind.

Designers' Nest - a vital incubator for talent

Designers' Nest is a non-profit initiative that supports fashion talents from the Nordic countries in their early stages after graduation. It features graduate designers who show high levels of originality, creativity, craftsmanship and responsible design. Each year 10 finalists are selected to present their graduate work at a joint fashion show at Copenhagen Fashion Week. Awarded designers receive mentorships, internships and support to produce a commercial collection.

For the 2021 edition, Browns Fashion will handpick a designer and in collaboration with the Bear Scouts, the designer's collection will be produced sustainably and available to purchase in Browns Fashion boutiques as well as online at Browns Fashion. Bottega Veneta will offer one designer a 6-month internship at the studio in Milan. One designer will be awarded a monetary prize of 50.000 DKK. The Exhibition Prize will be awarded to selected designers who will be included in a fashion exhibition at the museum Prins Eugen Waldemarsudde in Stockholm. All finalists will receive a profile on Eyes on Talents, an invite-only platform that connects talents with established designers and brands.
