We are proud to enter into this partnership with Opel that kicks off at the SS22 edition of our fashion week, taking our guests from one show to the next.

The green transition is on everyone’s lips and is highly relevant for all industries. Opel is well advanced in implementing its PACE strategic plan, making all its passenger cars and vans available in an electrified version before the end of 2024. At the same time, the goal is to make the Opel model range more attractive to a younger and broader audience. Driving eco-friendly cars should never be boring. Under the umbrella called ”The New Opel”, the German car brand launches cars with a focus on design, German quality, user-friendliness and sustainability. Opel Mokka is the first Opel to personify “The New Opel” by combining a completely new design DNA, new technologies in the passenger compartment and layout as well as the possibility of choosing between petrol, diesel and electricity. With Mokka, Opel is ready to pursue new avenues.

Copenhagen Fashion Week is the epicentre of Nordic fashion, celebrating innovative and directional design, twice a year. With a sound focus on implementing a more positive practice within designer businesses that make up the wider creative eco-system, Copenhagen Fashion Week activated a three-year sustainability plan focusing on how to accelerate the transition of a more responsible fashion week and fashion industry,

We’re proud to enter into this partnership with Opel that kicks off at the SS22 edition of our fashion week. With this collaboration, we’re addressing one core pillar of our action plan to reduce the climate impact of our event. The new car service will play a significant role in doing so and we’re confident that the Mokka-e series perfectly bridges comfort for our guests with our sustainability ambitions. – Cecilie Thorsmark, CEO, Copenhagen Fashion Week

Opel in Rüsselsheim is aiming at a sustainable future with a minimal CO2 emission. This has become the absolute essence of the company’s approach to developing and producing cars, and Mokka-e is no exception. Everything from design, construction and production to infrastructure has been developed from a sustainability perspective and is an important part of the German car make’s profile that is summed up by ”The New Opel” concept.

”Opel has introduced what we call ”The New Opel”. Some of the most important components of The New Opel is design with attitude and sustainability. Opel shares these two focus areas with Copenhagen Fashion Week. As as part of the fashion week, we provide twelve Mokka-e cars that will operate as a car service for the international guests. In this way they can get around in Copenhagen in electric vehicles with no CO2 emission, and at the same time we support the sustainable profile of the Copenhagen Fashion Week”, says the CEO of Opel in Denmark, Christian Haugaard.

Mokka-e is bubbling with design, charisma and sheer pleasure of electric driving and builds a bridge to the very best of Scandinavian fashion design. That is why Opel hopes that the Mokka-e shuttle service will make a new group of customers discover Opel’s new direction. Sustainable solutions should never be boring.
