Three Nordic brands from outside of Denmark have chosen to show their collections during Copenhagen Fashion Week.
Not only will Copenhagen Fashion Week present to us what Danish fashion has to offer for AW18. This fashion week two Sweedish and one Norwegian brand have chosen to be part of the official Copenhagen Fashion Week show calendar. The presence of the brands marks Copenhagen’s position as the leading fashion week city in the Nordic region.
The three nordic brands that will be presented on the catwalk during fashion week are Holzweiler, Uniforms for the Dedicated, and J.Lindeberg.
The Norwegian brand Holzweiler pays high attention to exquisite qualities and materials, creating playful basics and blending progressive ideas with classic ideals. Drawing on art as a metaphor and portraying this directly into the collection has become one of the main characteristics of the distinct Holzweiler design. It will be the second time Holzweiler shows at Copenhagen Fashion Week.
Another Nordic brand we will see on the catwalk this fashion week is Uniforms for the Dedicated, based in Sweden. The brand was established back in 2008 by a collective of snowboarders and various creative minds and has ever since its beginning been devoted to making modern streetwear. The fabrics are primary based on organic, bio-based or recycled fibers, which are carefully selected to embody the certain quality the brand stands for.
Last but not least the Swedish brand J.Lindeberg will show up on the Danish catwalk. The brand was established in 1996 in Stockholm with the vision to challenge the establishment of the fashion and golf industries. The brand combines the worlds of fashion and sportswear, offering innovative products for an active lifestyle. Today J.Lindeberg does fashion, golf ski and active wear collections – distributes clothing to more than 35 countries.
The presence of the brands will give a new dimension to Copenhagen Fashion Week and its international reach.
